    5. 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
    6. 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
    7. Salt to taste
    8. 1 tablespoon chopped coriander

Method / Preparation

Follow step-by-step instructions
  1. Mix the flour, salt, and oil gradually adding water to form a smooth dough. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. For the filling, heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and ginger paste, then toss in the boiled green peas along with turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for 3-4 minutes; finish with chopped coriander.
  3. Divide the dough into small balls, stuff each with the pea filling, and seal the edges properly.
  4. Deep fry the kachoris in hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve warm with tamarind chutney.
