  5. A few saffron strands (optional)
  6. 2 tablespoons chopped almonds (for garnish)

Method / Preparation

Follow step-by-step instructions
  1. Bring the full-fat milk to a boil in a heavy-bottomed pan.
  2. Reduce heat and stir in the dissolved rice flour gradually while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  3. Add sugar and continue to simmer, stirring regularly until the milk reduces to a pudding-like consistency (approximately 30 minutes).
  4. Mix in the cardamom powder and saffron strands.
  5. Garnish with chopped almonds and serve warm or chilled.
